Welcoming Atle Risa – Threat Intelligence Manager
As River Security continues to grow and welcome new customers, we’re excited to welcome Atle Risa as our new Threat Intelligence Manager.
The Threat Intelligence Manager plays a key role at River Security, working closely with our customers to help them understand the evolving threat landscape, prioritize what matters most, and turn intelligence into actionable security decisions. With Atle joining the team, we’re expanding our threat intelligence capabilities and strengthening our ability to deliver timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence to the organizations that trust us with their security.
Before joining River Security, Atle spent several years in the Norwegian Armed Forces, where he worked within intelligence and analysis. During this time, he was responsible for analyzing complex information and communicating actionable intelligence to a wide range of stakeholders.
Most recently, Atle worked as an instructor, developing and delivering training programmes while helping shape new courses based on changing operational needs. Combined with his Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence from the Norwegian Defence Intelligence School, his background provides a strong foundation for helping River Security and our customers stay ahead of an ever-changing threat landscape.

Outside of work, Atle enjoys staying active and rarely sits still for long. Whether it’s cross-country skiing during the winter months, cycling on the road, or going for a run, he’s always looking for the next challenge. Safe to say, he’ll have no trouble keeping up the pace, both on the trails and in the fast-moving world of cyber.
